HandleBards Orange Wheel Icon

Charlotte spent her school days playing trees and men, so is thrilled to be returning to a variety of these classic roles with the HandleBards. Merely a keen Boris Biker, she can’t wait to join the steely-thighed ladies for the international leg of their tour.¬†Charlotte trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, who she represented at Shakespeare’s Globe during the Sam Wanamaker Festival 2016.

Credits include: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (BBC Radio 3), SURROUNDED 2.0 (TedEx Glasgow), 4:48 PSYCHOSIS (Fourth Monkey). New work development includes: DISINTEGRATION LOOPS (The North Wall, Oxford), THE MAN IN THE GREEN BOOTS (Pit Theatre, Barbican), THE GREENZONE (McLelland Arts Festival), and regular collaborations with The Human Zoo Theatre Company.

And her favourite Shakespeare quote?

“Better a witty fool, than a foolish wit.”

My Favourite Thing About The HandleBards:

Rewarding yourself after a full day of cycling with a Shakespeare performance outdoors in the summer sun (..or rain if it’s England..).

If Shakespeare Was Alive Today:

I’d ask him which character was his favourite to write.

The Biggest Adventure I've Ever Had:

Chopping off my finger and learning how to use it again…
